Emma Mclaughlin is a painter from Jacksonville, Florida working towards her B.F.A. In Fine Arts from Pratt Institute. In her practice, she’s passionate about large scale work because of how tangible the painted surface becomes. The use of color and suspended space allow her to create vignettes of the past overlapped with her current environment.
