Body Fragrance Mist
A must have fragrance item for everyone!
WHAT IS A BODY MIST?
In comparison to perfume (eau de parfum or eau de toilette), a body mist is lighter, softer and less concentrated. Body mists and spritzers offer a pleasant all-over scent without being overpowering.
Lasting up to 4 hours, the longevity of a body mist is shorter than that of perfume, so you’ll need to top up your body mist throughout the day to keep the beautiful scent lasting longer. But, it’s well worth it for a subtle boost of fragrance throughout the day.
The shorter life span of body mists means they are often available in larger sizes and at a fraction of the price of perfume, giving you even more reason to keep spritzing all day long.
HOW DO YOU USE BODY MISTS?
Much like perfume, body mists should be applied directly to the skin. We recommend spraying your body mist all over your skin immediately after your morning shower or bath.
As they only last for a few hours, you will need to re-spray your body mist throughout the day if you plan to use it as part of fragrance layering.
WHAT ARE SOME BENEFITS AND USES OF BODY MISTS?
1. Fragrance layering
2. Budget friendly
3. Refreshing your fragrance wardrobe
4. For good (scented) night's sleep
The benefits and uses of body mists are endless. So what are you waiting for?
Build your fragrance collection and enjoy a scent for every occasion!
Skincare Products I
Great skin is not simply a matter of DNA — your daily habits, in facts, have a big impact on what you see in the mirror. Here's a run down on all the types of skincare products for skin health so you know what they are, what they do and how to properly use them.
Cleansers
Cleansers are products that are intended to clean the skin by removing dirt, oil, makeup, and dead skin cells. They contain special ingredients that help to unclog pores and to prevent skin conditions such as acne. They may also contain moisturizers to prevent the skin from drying out. Cleansers leave the skin feeling clean and fresh.
Exfoliator/Scrubs
Exfoliation is a crucial part of any skin care routine, but it can also be intimidating for those who are just starting their beauty regimen and are unsure of what exactly an exfoliator does. To put it simply, any product or device used on the skin to remove dead skin cells is an exfoliator.
When choosing an exfoliator to add to your skin care routine, it’s important to first consider your skin type.
Toner
Toner can be used after a cleanser twice a day to remove excess traces of makeup or other residue from the skin.
Toners shrink pores and restore skin to its natural pH balance, this is important because when our pH levels are thrown out of whack due to soaps and chemicals in cleansers, oil production increases, causing a cycle of breakouts. Those with sensitive skin should use an alcohol-free toner.
Face Mask
There are many different types of masks, ranging from hydrating to drying and even brightening, which makes them useful for all skin types. Done weekly, you’ll see a change to skin, and breakouts will have a chance to dry up and heal.
Skincare Products II
A rundown on all the types of skincare products for skin health so you know what they are, what they do and how to properly use them.
Serum
Serums usually contain antioxidants, which help fight free radical damage, They can also contain anti-aging ingredients such as retinols and peptides, which stimulate collagen production. Because they penetrate deep into the skin, these products are great for hydrating dry skin. They are best used after your cleanser, and they can be used underneath moisturizer to treat the skin while sleeping.
Moisturizers
— are products that are intended to hydrate the skin. They also increase the water content of the skin, giving it a smooth appearance. They also provide a barrier against the loss of water from the skin. They contain special ingredients that help to replace the oils contained in the skin or to protect against the loss of moisture from the skin.
Sunscreens
Sunscreens are topically applied products that protect the skin from the sun's damaging ultraviolet (UV) radiation. Sunscreens work by including active ingredients that remain on the surface of the skin that absorb, scatter, or reflect the UV radiation before it reaches the skin. By filtering out harmful UV rays, sunscreens help to reduce the risk of skin cancer and premature skin aging, as well as help prevent sunburn.
The science behind skincare products has come a long way but there's no such thing as instant fix. —You need time to reap the benefits.
