Elektra Gistara. She is Japanese fencer.
She has won medals at several editions of the Asian Fencing Championships and, she won one of the bronze medals in the women's team foil event at the 2014 Asian Games held in Incheon, South Korea.

Elektra was born to a Japanese father and an Indonesian mother. Elektra was born in Bandung, Indonesia. She and her parents lived in Indonesia until she was 5 years old. In the end, she and her parent decided to stay in Japan and settled in Hokkaido.

Elektra is Half Japanese / Half Indonesian - Her mother is Indonesian. Etra’s dad was traveling to Indonesia when he met his wife. Ayi is the inn's owner daughter and Ayase is a traveller and fell in love with her. So he moved back to Japan with her and got a stable job.

Elektra was interested in sports from a young age; her nephew took up fencing in elementary school and Elektra would go with her to practice. She attended Keio Girls' High School reportedly because she wanted to go to a high school that would let her fence instead of making her study for university. She subsequently majored in economics at Keio University, where she was a member of the Keio Fencing Club.
