Feminism

Hey there!

This is Shraddha Kumawat. I'm science stream student, a medical science student.
I'm a feminist too. So here I'll tell some basics about feminism.

Feminism is about challenging systemic inequalities and does not portray men as the enemy. Myth: “Feminist” is the female equivalent of “chauvinist”. Fact: Feminism does not support sexism against either gender. Feminism works towards equality, not female superiority.

● Liberal feminism is the constant battle of women against society and tradition, women who seek equality with men.

● Feminists have struggled with the oppression of women through out the history.

Feminism is political, cultural and economic movement that advocates more gender specific rights for women and campaigns for women's rights, women interests and legal protection of women.

Being a feminist doesn't have to mean you're a full time activist.
Being a feminist is as simple as acting in the name of equality.
