I'm Eyeleen and 20 years old. Right now I live in the US and I'm an Aupair here but my home country is Germany.
I want to travel the world and you can be a part of it! So let the adventure begin!

Where should I start...

At first I give you a little backround story about myself, why I start my first blog and what kind of topics I want to write about.

My name is Eyeleen and I'm 20 years old. I decided after school that I want to spent one or two years as an Aupair in the US.

I was 19 years old when I started a new chapter of my live, I flew all the way from Germany to the US and here we are 10 months later writing about it. Also just saying, I stay here for another year!

I decided to start writing about what happend in the past 10 month, about life recently and the future. A big topic of mine would be travel because I just have to say it travel is my passion! I also have a motto for my life and I love this one because it is true, you only have that one life and you should do everything to be happy. I'm happy when I can travel, learn about new cultures, try new food, meet new people, new places and I can just be myself. Because all I wanna do is travel. That's it! I want to see this beautiful earth that we call ''home''. Like... that's all I want!

This part of my life is called finding myself because when I get lost, that's okay. I'll make my own path. This part is about me loving myself so much that I realize I'm the only one that can stop that.

My plan for the future is to write about the past 10 month at first what happend in this time, so you know a little bit more about my backround and where I started . Also I tell you guys where I traveled to and give you some hints what you should see or not. And of course live recently and what I do after the two years as an Aupair when I'm back in Germany. A reason is also why I decided to start this blog so I can bring all the memories back.

My last days in Germany.

I spent a lot of time with my family and friends because I knew I would be gone for almost two years. So I enjoyed ever single moment I had with them.
At the day I went to the airport I was so nervous to leave and asked myself often if I really wanna do this because I knew it would be a big challenge.
Start my own life with a diffrent language in a diffrent country and new peolpe.
Now I am happy that I did it!

My first month in the USA.

I was so happy that I was here.
I enjoyed everything here, the place where I live, the people, the food and to be myself. 
In the first month I became a new member of my hostfamily and I met new people who became my friends..
I started my own adventure.
I knew I would grow a lot in this time.
I would learn so much about myself and can be the person who I wanted to be.
I could see this beautiful country.
In the first month everything was perfect. I had the life I dreamed of.

Till I fell the stairs down. I needed surgery.
I did not knew what I should do in this moment. Shoud I go back home or stay?
I decided to stay and fight for my dream.
So I did.
I had the surgery and could not walk for a very long time.
At this time my mental health was not in a good condition.
But thankfully I had my family, friends and hostfamily. They helped me a lot to get out of this dark time!

I made it!
This was a really big challenges and I grow.
I learned a lot of it. And I know I can fight for myself to be happy and follow my dreams.

After I learned to walk again, I planned my first trip with friends.
How exciting!
After spending time with my Hostfamily over Christmas (a great and different experience), we all went to different trips.
The first time I did a trip in my Aupair years. We just got into a car and went on a road-trip, one of the best experience I have ever made. You can see way more of the country then just flying straight to a city.
I saw six cities in four states.
Charlotte in North Carolina,
Charleston in South Carolina,
Savannah, Covington and Atlanta in Georgia,
Nashville in Tennessee
All places are beautiful and even over New Year was it so hot at this places. I didn't thought about that and had almost just warm clothes with me, we all had.
I had the best time and got to know great new people and maked new friends.
We were 7 girls in Nashville on New Year’s Eve and got invited into a american house party. We didn't even knew the people we went to.
We just got invited over Bumble.
It was so fun!
It was time for my next adventure.
I try to do everything I can, to be happy.
And this is exactly, what makes me happy.
I try to be my best version of myself.
To find myself.
I want to focus on my life and not to overthink on somebody else. Who doesn't care about me at all.
Nobody is actually proud of me or you.
They are just suprised you keep making shit happen.
Think about that for a second.
