Pray this prayer

Father God, I want to first thank you for waking me up this morning. Though there are many things I could ask of you right now, I want to take a brief moment to be thankful for what I DO have.

Thank you for allowing me to get to this part of my life in wanting to move forward and take a step in the right direction. I pray throughout this journey that you will guide me, allow peace, wisdom, understanding and to be receptive to you and others you have sent my way.

Prepare and renew my mind each and everyday. Protect me against anything the enemy is trying to steal, kill and destroy. You are my God! You are my provider and YOU are my protector! I invite you into my life, home and relationships. TRANSFORM ME! SET ME ON FIRE FOR YOU! In JESUS name! AMEN!

This season I am making an effort to focus on submission in my marriage. It’s also one of the most powerful tools God created for the wives!

Tony Evans couldn’t have made a better book! Its called “A woman’s role in the Home.” It’s simple and powerful and I totally encourage you to read it! I also have made it a point to encourage our wives of this generation to become more submissive to their husbands because we’ve taken it too far in disrespecting them. Society has pushed us to think that “I don’t need a man” or “I’m strong enough to play both roles for my child” or even worse, “I want to be the leader in my marriage!” We shouldn’t have to think this way as women and mothers. Let’s get back to the roles God set for us! Respect & Submission👊🏽
