Welcome to my Insta website via the Milkshake App.
You’ve probably popped in via my Instagram profile. Hiya 👋🏽
Around seven years ago, I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis and Fibromyalgia. It was a heavily debilitating condition leaving me in pain whenever I was awake. I battled with it for a few years until medication got it under control. Unfortunately my weight crept up until I could barely recognise myself.
My sister and cousins all had WLS (weight loss surgery) over the past three years with excellent results. I decided late last year during lockdown to do it.
During the month of March, I undertook pre-surgery tests, met with my dietician and now waiting to start my pre-surgery preparations which includes a two-week liquid diet, exercise with the aim of shrinking the size of my liver. This makes it easier for the surgeons to operate.
I’m confirmed for surgery on 5 May 2021 at Epworth Hospital in Richmond VIC with surgeon, Mr Ernest Lim from Melbourne Bariatric Centre.
I can’t wait for this tool to hopefully help relieve my chronic pain and also become healthier and happier.

Recommendation # 4
My husband works out at the gym and we share his protein power and I order my protein snacks from Nutrition Warehouse.
My friend Kate recommended Karmic organic bone broths. You have to order them by the dozen. Perfect for pre-op foe the first couple of days post-op too.
