Tell the world what you’re made of
My Instagram account began about 6 years ago in the wonderful city of Pittsburgh when I was a senior in college thanks to a dear friend and talented artist (Check her out - https://www.instagram.com/pmuirart/ ). She took my phone created an account and every time we were together, she would post a photo for me along with hashtags (I barely knew what this was). For a while, I barely looked at it until one day she showed me a photo that had gotten far more positive feedback than anything I posted on my Facebook photography page, which is how I had been sharing my photos up until then.
Since then, I graduated with a B.S. in Biology from the University of Pittsburgh, moved to Philly, got my master in M.S in Cell & Developmental Biology, and now am in my third year of medical school at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine doing my rotations . All along, I dabbled in portrait, wedding, and lifestyle photography. My activity on instagram ebbed and flowed over the years but I really became active on the platform once I moved to Philly. Walking around, exploring, and trying new foods while photographing this city is how I both established my Instagram and fell in love with the city of Philadelphia. I began meeting people with similar interests and kept developing my photography, editing, and social media endeavors and haven’t stopped since!
I hope you enjoy my photos of Philly, food recommendations, and everything in between!
