Target Favorites

My Favorite Pieces from Today

Hi guys and gals! So I took my 13 year old cousin Lexie and her friend to Target with me (gotta start them young right?) and I did NOT expect to love so many pieces! I am LOVING the animal print trend going on this summer/fall as well as the skirt trend. I really feel like skirts accentuate your legs especially if you have thicc thighs like me because it covers up the curviest part of my thighs! And its just a plus that they’re sooooo comfy 🤩

Speaking about this particular outfit, it’s MADE for comfort, y’all. The top is basically a pullover/sweatshirt so it has that thick material and super soft inside. It also has short sleeves, which is perfect for living in the south because the weather can never make up its mind! 🤪 The skirt is actually a skort, which I think is the best kind of skirt because they’re super comfy but also give you a little back up security with the built in shorts! This taupe color is great because it goes with a lot of different colored tops, and going into fall, you need something that is versatile to match with all your different sweaters!

I’ve linked my exact outfit on my Instagram post so you can shop my look!

Hope you guys have an awesome Saturday 💕

My Fav Beauty Products

Hey y’all! So I went to target today (per usual) and re-upped on some of my favorite beauty products, and I thought it would be a great idea to share them with y’all!

Let me begin by saying I have found the holy grail of DUPES! 🏆 These products create my daily looks, and are a perfect fit for the everyday girl (that’s not trying to spend a fortune on beauty products). I’m basically an E.L.F. addict; their products have improved SO much over the years and I’m so impressed with the quality.

I’ve linked all of these products on my homepage under the “Shop My Looks” tab so you can easily shop them 💕

E.L.F $6 Foundation

The first product that I HIGHLY recommend is this $6 elf foundation! It goes on so easily and you can layer it to create a full coverage effect. This foundation is such good quality that I have been using it every day for my looks! Finding my shade is always difficult for me so I have to try a few different shades before I find the perfect one, but elf makes it so easy to try multiple shades since they’re only $6!

E.L.F. $6 Camo Concealer

Y’all. This concealer has changed my LIFE in the best way possible! It is the best affordable Shape Tape dupe I’ve ever tried and it’s only $6 compared to the almost $30 Tarte brand. It even has the same applicator! I would 10/10 recommend this product because it conceals -everything- from my under eye bags to my pesky zits.

Lush Silky Underwear Dusting Powder

This whole “dusting powder” thing was new to me; does it go on your body? On your sheets? On your clothes? Then I realized.... it goes on all of it! I absolutely love sprinkling some of it on my freshly cleaned sheets when I make my bed because the cocoa butter scent makes it smell soooo cozy. And the jasmine smells make me feel so relaxed when I’m going to bed! It is double duty too because you can sprinkle some on your clothes/skin to bring that cozy scent around with you all day! I highly recommend this product because honestly it smells like a hug. From a beautiful man. In heaven.

Airspun Translucent Setting Powder

Thanks to my BFF Hannah (hey girl), I have been using this product for years!! It is the best setting/baking/loose face powder on the market, hands down (and it’s under $10!!!). I always use it to set my liquid elf foundation because my skin is naturally oily, so I need something to matte-ify my skin. It comes with a little puffer applicator and sometimes I use that, but normally I just use a big fluffy powder brush to apply it to my face.

E.L.F. $5 Beauty Blender

I told you I’m an E.L.F. addict..... before I go on, I have to say that I have always loved the Beauty Blender brand of sponges. They are great quality, but spending $20 on one every couple of months is just not in the budget for me 😩 but once I found this elf beauty blender, the game changed. It’s great quality, does it’s job right, and it’s only $5 which is a quarter of the price of the high end! This is one of my makeup essentials, and you can’t beat the price for this great of quality!

E.L.F Hydrating Bubble Mask

I am all about a good face mask! I use them at least 3x a week, and this elf hydrating bubble mask is one of my favorites. I love it because it makes my face feel tingly while it’s working and bubbles up to let me know my face is about to be SUPER hydrated! As we move into fall, our faces are going to get a little dry from the cold, windy days. With this bubble mask, I don’t have to worry about my skin drying out and affecting my everyday makeup looks!

VS Warm and Cozy Body Mist

This body mist from Victoria’s Secret is a Fall/Winter staple in my collection! It’s a warm, inviting scent that doesn’t smell too sweet. I was out of it for so long before my sweet boyfriend Sam got it for me for my birthday and reminded me of how much I loved it! 🥰 I am a sucker for warm, “noir” kinds of seductive scents. If you’re like me, then I would definitely suggest trying it!

American Eagle

Today’s Shopping Haul

Hi everyone!

Today I went to the mall with my boyfriend Sam to shop some sales- you wouldn’t believe all the sales going on right now! Belk is having a clearance event for Men, Women, and Children’s clothing right now and it’s ~70% off! I had to spend a good half our looking through all the cute brands. And that’s not the only one, American Eagle had a really good sale rack today as well. That’s where I found this skirt!

This kind of outfit seems to be trending in the fashion community, and I can definitely tell why! The cute printed skirt with a graphic tee are the perfect match! The tee and the skirt were both UNDER $20 🙀 and super comfy!! If you know me, you know I’m all about being comfy 24/7. How can you look your best when you don’t feel your best?? I don’t want to find out. The shirt was kind of a sweatshirt material which made it SO soft on the inside! It felt like a hug. Or a cloud. Or a cloud hug.

The skirt is a semi thin fabric, and very flowy. Definitely made for the summer time! When I’m all hot and sweaty from the 100° weather here in Alabama, this is exactly the kind of bottoms I need (other than swimsuit bottoms). they allow me to move around without being restricted like some skirts do, while at the same time looking super cute and put together!

Tonight I’ll be at a Hawaiian themed gathering with Sam and his friends, so I’ll post a link of my outfit later 💕

Have a great Saturday night babes! 🤪
