Hey there, friend! We’re glad you made it to our page. We’re a trio of girls who have set out to restore a few things back into the heart of mealtime with little ones.

We are on a mission to empower and enable both professionals and parents to figure out the perfect recipe to make their child or infant successful at eating—with a good helping of clinical expertise, a scoop of real life experience, and a portion of up-to-date research..we really believe that hope can be restored to families & medical professionals
who struggle to know where to begin when it comes to feeding challenges.

Meet & Greet

Amber Valentine Forston, MS. CCC-SLP, BC-S, CNT, IBCLC

The first half of this dynamic duo is Amber Forston. Amber has been practicing speech pathology for 15 years with special emphasis on all things swallowing/dysphagia. She’s worked in a variety of settings ranging from school to private practice as well as skilled nursing facility, first steps, and several different acute care settings.

••She is passionate about pediatric feeding and lactation and helped kickstart our hospital’s policy change and implementation of SLP program in the NICU! She has spoken internationally on pediatric and adult dysphagia and serves on several committees. She is board certified in swallowing, is a certified neonatal therapist, and is an international board certified lactation consultant.

••In her spare time she loves to travel with her husband, Michael, and spend time with her four rotten kiddos!

Victoria Osborne, MA. Ed., CCC-SLP

••the second half of the dynamic duo: Victoria Osborne 🖤

•As a young speech pathologist, she has had unique experience in her past 4 years of practice in a variety of settings including first steps, private practice/day care contracts, AND home health—that she completed all with one company! When Amber asked her to join her in the NICU, she didn’t hesitate to jump in and help grow the SLP feeding program that is now flourishing ✨

••though pediatric/infant feeding is her niche—she still enjoys serving the adult population daily and learning from her mentor, Amber. She has been invited to speak at her state convention, university graduate school classes, and to her coworkers/parents at the hospital.

••in her spare time you can find her hanging in the skies with her pilot husband, Chandler, adventuring with her girl gang, or snuggling her doodle-pup, Emmy.

Lana Allen, BS-N, RN, CIMI

•Rounding out the group is Lana!

Lana has been practicing as a nurse for 10 years—with six of those years serving tinies in the NICU, while raising her own three children at the same time!

After a nursing three babies for a total of five years (& counting) and experiencing feeding challenges of their own, Lana took a special interest in learning more about infant feeding & joined forces with Amber & Victoria to problem solve gaps in parent and professional education & expand her skill in the NICU!

When she’s not at work, you can catch her taking on new adventures with her hubby & sweet kids or traveling with the whole fam bam to unique spots across the country!
