Editors Note
Spooky thought: 67 days until Christmas. If that alarms you as much as it does us, you’ll be looking for something upon which you can recline, lie in comfort and worry in style. With this in mind, it’s all about sofas this week. And we think we’ve got one for every style of worrier; the worrier that needs distraction will find it in summery Morris fabric, the one that needs full body comfort can dive into a modular behemoth, the one who is really too chic and efficient to worry can get stuff done on the elegant bergere and the one who pretends it is all ok can entertain on green tassels. I, meanwhile, will be reclined in full melodrama on a double ended parlour sofa.

Maud Vaughan Interiors
Maud Vaughan Interiors buy and sell a beautiful selection of 20th century art and decorative antiques. If it’s a show stopping stone or marble table you’re after, this is the place. Pencil reed, wicker and rattan treasures, too. Along side the vintage and antique stock, there is a small selection of contemporary pieces: hand-painted ceramics, fabulous frilled cushions. And we adore the ‘wiggle' lamps and candlesticks made specially for Maud Vaughan. It all sits beautifully together; the vintage feels contemporary and the contemporary feels timeless. What a gem.
