San Antonio Fiesta 2023: Salute to the Military
SAN ANTONIO – (April 24, 2023) – Commander Burrell Parmer of Fred Brock American Legion Post No. 828 with Command Master Chief Charles Horgan IV, Master Chief Hospital Corpsman Blair Taylor, and other Sailors of the USS San Antonio (LPD-17) at the Salute to the Military held at IBC Plaza. The event, which was hosted by the Texas Cavaliers, provided members of the military and their families a space to watch and enjoy the Texas Cavaliers River Parade held during Fiesta. Fred Brock Post 828 is proud to be part of the diverse and vibrant community of San Antonio also known as Military City USA. The post’s mission is to enhance the well-being of San Antonio’s veterans, their families, the military, and the community by its devotion to mutual helpfulness.
