Hello my name is Peter Anthony. I’m Irish but I live in Spain.

On this podcast I’m going to be talking to people who, like myself, leave home for good. I’ll be asking them about their new settled life but what I’m really interested in, is that moment they decided their home country - where they grew up, where their family remain - isn’t where they belong anymore.

This will be a journey of discovery for the people who want to express their reasoning for leaving their home.

Stories educate and connect

Everybody has a unique and beautiful story to tell. And it is by telling and sharing these stories that we can learn, grow, but most importantly recognize ourselves in others.

Story telling has an essential role to play in culture, in society, as a guide and a teacher. From the tribe leaders around the campfire, to now via the digital campfires, it is an art and one that should always be cherished as a gift. It tells us more than just words, it captures a truth that cannot be captured by a word alone.
