Gemma’s honesty sets her beauty commentary apart from the masses and has secured
her collaborations with Mecca Cosmetica, Bobbi Brown, Tom Ford, Estée Lauder,
Armani, La Roche Posay, By Terry and Omorovicza, while her presenting experience
has seen her appear in video campaigns for Mecca Cosmetica, La Mer and
September 2018 saw Gemma Watts launch the Glow Journal podcast, giving
listeners a behind the scenes look at the business of beauty. The podcast
reached Number 1 on the iTunes Arts Chart within hours of launching and
was featured in the Number 1 spot on iTunes’ New & Noteworthy after just
two episodes — a position it maintained for two weeks. The Glow Journal
podcast has since been picked up by NOVA Entertainment's podcast partner,
Acast, and has been hand selected by the Apple team to sit atop their
curated collection of 'Influencer' hosted podcasts, sitting in the
Number 1 spot and featuring on the Apple Podcasts front page.

The Creative Studio
Based in Melbourne and launched in 2016, Gemma owns and operates Glow Journal Creative,
the content creation subdivision of the Glow Journal brand. The business specialises
in copywriting, tone of voice development, branded editorial copy, photography and
creative consultation across the beauty, wellness, fashion and design spheres.
Since launching her own business, blog and social platforms in 2016, Gemma has secured written and visual partnerships and MCing work with some of the world's largest beauty brands. Many of these partnerships have lead to ongoing, long-term working relationships and repeat collaborations.
Gemma Watts has been a part of Australia’s media landscape since 2012, working as a journalist, photographer and MC across the fashion and beauty spheres. A trained journalist and experienced presenter, Gemma spent five years as a fashion and beauty editor before launching Glow Journal, a beauty platform now comprising an editorial website, beauty podcast and copywriting studio, in 2016.
