Gilly Row
Oh Hello There
I’m a 40 something year old who has been on a journey of health, wellness and entrepreneurial-ship. I’m a wife, step mom, daughter, sister and I have two adorable dogs and a coop of laying hens. I love life. I live it to the fullest and work very hard at keeping an open and positive mindset. I’ve been through a lot with some big losses over my lifetime but I’m so lucky to be surrounded by so much love.
I work full time for the Government of Canada and I also am part owner of a nano craft brewery called Timber Ship Brewing. My husband, business partners and I built this business from the ground up and find so much pride in serving small batch, quality craft beer to our little city, Miramichi, NB, Canada.
I’m pretty much an open book. I don’t mind sharing that I have health issues which I have been conquering since the age of 13. I was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease as a young teenager and have been in remission since 2008. As a result of being on multiple different medications, I had kidney failure and have been living with Chronic Kidney Disease ever since. Like your heart or lungs, you can’t live without your kidneys. They are you responsible for filtering blood and removing waste and toxins from your body. Pretty darn important I would say!
This is my “why” to my unending search for “safer” products and for also eating “cleaner”. I’m saying It safer and cleaner as I truly believe there is a balance. From experience, I know if you do anything on an extreme scale, you are probably going to fail – so starting off small and working on exchanging your current products for safter alternatives (and cheaper I may add) is so crucial to you successfully lowering your toxic load. I’ve experienced first hand as to what this can do for your health and wellness. I’ve been able to keep my kidney function stable for the past two years because of these changes I have made in my life. Lowering my toxic load, by using safer alternatives to every day products, is so important to me and I have this passion to share what I find with whoever will listen 😊.
These past few years have also opened my eyes to purchasing our every day household items online rather than at big box stores. Saving time, money, on top of the convenience of it, has been such a bonus. These products work and work well!
