I work as a full time dental hygienist and have 2 busy kids to chauffeur around. I love sports-both participating and watching and spending time outdoors. Some of my favorites include volleyball, golf, hiking, and running.
I decided last year to make getting healthy a priority. I lost 65 lbs, and have kept it off. Throughout my weight loss journey, I made it my mission to find foods & recipes that made me feel like I wasn’t sacrificing taste/food volume. Along with proper nutrition, exercise has become a huge part of my life. Seeing your body transform through weight training is a great motivator to keep going, but getting to the gym isn’t always easy. I love finding ways to incorporate movement throughout the day, even if you have a sedentary job.
