I think you can tell a lot about a person based on what their favorite things are. If you look at someone's favorite book or movie or even snack, you're learning something about who they are as a person. That being said, the following is ~not~ so that people will know more about me. It is for the sole purpose of letting everyone know what I like & that you're wrong if you don't agree. JS.
Horror is the best genre for movies. There's nothing like cuddling it up with the boo of the night & having your heart race to what's happening on the screen. It's exhilarating & sometimes hilarious if the movie is bad enough.
YA books are just too interesting to ignore. I tried doing the whole "I'm an adult, I will read adult books" but that instantly failed. Unless you're into books that drag on endlessly or just straight up erotica, the adult book genre is not for you. Instead, pick up a more fun, adventurous fantasy ya book where a young hero beats an asshole tyrant. Trust me, it's much more exciting than the boring realism that adult novels have to offer.
