Killeen native Gio, breaks away from what some would call traditional R&B. Infusing a warm 90’s soulful voice with today’s trap sound.

Gio has taken home 2 “Best R&B” awards at the KMA’s (Killeen Music Awards)

Gio made a bold move to Austin to further pursue her music career and has been making a buzz around the city. She started by recording some of her original music at the Austin Film Studio for Austins local PBS network. She has performed at The Urban Music Festival and makes reoccurring appearances with Austin’s own “Night Cap Tour” performing covers with a live band. She has blessed many stages around Austin such as Vulcan Gas Company, Tillery Live, Hen House, and Darband just to name a few.

Gio is currently working on her first EP that is set to be released Summer 2020. While working on her project she is recording cover songs with her band “The Toe Taggers” at Cascade Recording studio and performing with “Stretch Musik Band” at Y’all’s Cafe.
