Hi, my name is Luna S. Ferrari and I’m a passionate home cook, turned professional cook, gastronome, and freelance F&B consultant.
I was born and raised in Italy, but half of my heritage is Filipino and this always made me very curious towards diversity. I bring this trait to all my projects and to my cooking as I love traveling and experimenting with flavors from different countries.
In 2013, I earned a Masters degree in Food Culture & Communications at The University of Gastronomic Sciences. I followed Food Events & Education for Eataly’s international locations for 6+ years, before deciding to get my hands dirty and land in the kitchen.
In 2019 I became a professional cook and the next year I worked with two female business partners on co-founding Fòla - Gastronomia, Pasticceria e Bottega di Quartiere in Milan, as well as following kitchen operations.
In 2023 I have been increasing my work as freelance food consultant and culinary trainer. I am currently involved as Sous-Chef in the new opening of the middle-eastern inspired restaurant Lafa (Milano Certosa District).
I love sharing recipes, food culture & travel storytelling and new exciting projects with like-minded people!
