My first encounter with yoga was 6 years ago. I decided that I wished to maintain a healthy balance between work and deadlines along with my lifestyle. Soon, my passion for yoga progressed and I wanted to pursue it further. I made it a point to attend 2-3 sessions a week after work.
Early 2018, I left my job and enrolled in a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training course at Yoga Mala – learning the traditional and philosophical aspects of yoga as well as its origins.
It's easy to lose yourself in the quick pace of life; yoga has helped me to understand myself better, both physically and mentally. Don't be afraid to take time and look for what you want – that any feelings of uncertainty and unease is perfectly natural. Listen to your inner voice and accept your feelings. I hope that through yoga, it can enable you to learn more about yourself as it did for me.
It's all about the journey.
