About

Hello there. I’m Jeannette - married since 2003, and a mum of 3. I am a qualified Early Learning teacher, and taught in childcare classrooms up until my first child was born.

I knew that once I had my own children they would be my number one priority. I wanted to be there for them, and savour every special moment with them. However, as they grew older (my first born is in year 12 this year!) it was time to refocus and have a think about what I would do for me - fast forward 5 years and I have just completed my Food and Nutrition degree!

I am passionate about health and wellness, and inspiring others to live a healthy life. Being a dancer for most of my younger life, and now a CrossFitter, I have always been active. Plus, I love food - baking it, cooking it, trying new ideas, and eating it (that’s the best part!).

HLB Nutrition is a combination of my Early Childhood and Nutrition experience and knowledge. I love to share recipes, health and nutrition advice, and I love nothing more than interacting with like-minded people - I’m here to inspire, motivate, and encourage others to become a better version of themselves, by developing a healthy relationship with food, and embracing who they are as an individual. It took me many years to be where I am, so now I want to help others get to this point, too.

My favourite go-to nutrient boost

Sometimes it’s hard to eat all the food needed to replenish what I expel in exercise and daily life. These vegetable, fruit, and berry capsules are my go-to for a nutrient boost. I simply throw them straight into a smoothie, or take with water.
