Hair systems, commonly referred to as hair units for men, delivers an instant head of lush thick hair in about 2-3 hours.
In recent years, non-surgical hair replacement systems have emerged as a great alternative to invasive and painful surgical procedures, and they are gaining huge popularity among people struggling with hair loss. Hairskeens Hair System for Men is the perfect choice if you want a full head of hair without undergoing painful surgery.
Base Types:
• Skin
• Lace
• Hybrid
Adhesive Options:
• Strip Tape - can be more resistant to water, humidity, and scalp oils, but is much easier for those looking to do their re-applications at home. Sometimes if you wear the strip tape for an extended period the breakdown and residue can be extremely hard to clean.
• Liquid Adhesive - has the most natural feel, can be easier to clean, and in some cases lasts longer. However, for those trying to do their own maintenance at home it can be tricky to deal with and messy.
Maintenance includes removing, cleaning, & reapplying your hair system anywhere from once every 7 days to once every 4 weeks. Maintenance times vary depending on method of application (adhesive options) and how you take care of your system at home. Home maintenance is VERY important!
Maintenance varies depending on:
• The adhesive options
- strip tape every 1-2 weeks
- liquid adhesive every 2-3 weeks
• Your lifestyle and body chemistry
SHOWERING:
• Do not let water hit face directly where scalp meets the system.
• Avoid hot water. Using hot water on your system will reactivate the adhesive and may cause movement or lifting. This also goes for activities that increase body temperatures and sweat production.
•Shampooing your system daily is best. When shampooing start on the sides shampooing as normal and then use the residual suds to put on the system and work through with your hair brush provided. Use a small amount of conditioner on the ends of your system, being mindful to not get conditioner on the base of the system.
• Towel dry your hair. When drying your hair as you exit the shower, squeeze and blot with a towel.
STYLING:
• When styling, you may use leave in conditioner on the ends of the system. Style as desired. Usping water based products are best.
SKIN CARE:
• Take a wash cloth each night to your face & clean all the way up to the edge of the system to help prevent oils from traveling into the system.
Sleeping:
• Change all pillowcases weekly. Use a satin or silk pillowcase.
ISSUES:
• Avoid scratching your system, pat it. This is to ensure you don’t rip or tear your system.
• In the event of lifting in the front, you may use the blow dryer alternating between hot and cold air. This can help reactivate the adhesive and set it back into place.
Why should I choose this system over the surgery?
Surgery is much more expensive, and not a guarantee that you will have hair. This is instant, guaranteed results, no down time, no pain. And face it, we all like instant gratification.
Is it itchy?
Depending on the application method or when the hair underneath starts growing back, it can cause itchiness.
Do I wash my hair often?
Absolutely! You want to use gentle shampoo whenever you take a shower and wash your hair. If you do not wash your hair as needed, the oil buildup can reduce the lifespan of your system.
Can I swim?
Yes! Make sure to shower after any type of swimming to keep the hair clean and healthy and remove the chlorine/saltwater.
Will the adhesive clog my scalp and cause breakouts?
No, the adhesives are advanced and do not block your follicles or clog your pores. You will continue to grow hair underneath the system without any changes to the amount of hair or speed that it grows.
Is it human hair?
Yes, each hair system is made by hand and is human hair with synthetic grey.
How short can I wear my hair?
You can wear your hairstyle just as short as you would like. It can be styled any way you want to style it forward, with a part, straight back, you can even have a man bun if you’d like. The hairline is totally undetectable.
How long does the standard hair system last?
The system usually lasts 3 - 6 months. A lot of this has to do with your lifestyle and how well you take care of your system. If you are a very active outdoorsy person, you should expect a shorter lifespan of the hair system.
Will you see my hair system?
If applied and maintained correctly, your system should be undetectable.
