Heejung first started her modelling stint in her home country, South Korea. From working just editorial jobs, Heejung finally landed slots in some of the biggest runways in 2017. Heejung walked for brands like Marc Jacobs, Erdem and Fendi’s Spring/Summer 2018 collection during Fashion Week.

There's no doubt that HeeJung is one of the best models to have ever come from Korea. In 2020, she was rightfully recognized by the Korea Designer Fashion Awards as the "Model of the Year."

In anticipation for her debut TV series, Hee Jung reveals that what really drew her to The Fabulous was the gripping story. "I read [the] scripts of [the first] four episodes [and] I was so absorbed, I was really curious and excited about the remaining episodes," she shares. She adds that her and her character, Seon-ho, have "many similarities," which made her want to jump on board the project even more.
