WHAT IS MICROBLADING?

Microblading is a semi-permanent procedure that lasts 1 to 1.5 years depending on skin type.

Each procedure is unique, respecting the client’s individual brow shape, facial structure and color for a natural result.

THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW

Pre Procedure

Do not tweeze, wax or trim your brows at least 1 month prior to your appointment.

Avoid caffeine and/or alcohol 24 hours prior to procedure

If using Retinol, avoid using 1 week prior to procedure

Contraindicated if you’re pregnant, breastfeeding, diabetic, clients with immunological disorders, currently on Acutane or taken in the last year, prone to keeloids, any skin condition or dermatitis on or around area where procedure will be performed.

Anesthetics using Lidocane and Epinephrine will be used before and during procedure.

Appointment Duration: 2 hrs

Post Procedure

Brows are ONLY to be washed morning and night, other than that it should stay dry for 5 days post procedure (no sweating and no swimming).

Apply ointment for 5 days post procedure.

Avoid sun, beach, sauna, excessive sweating for 10 days.

Do NOT itch, scratch or pick at any scabs.

Brows WILL look significantly darker the day following procedure, don’t panic! After healing phase they will lighten 30-40%.

Durability: 1-1.5 years depending on skin type.

WHAT IS LIP BLUSHING?

Lip blushing is a form of semi-permanent makeup. Essentially, it is a cosmetic tattoo of the lips that enhances the beauty of the natural lip color, improving the shape of the lips, giving definition and the illusion of fullness. This treatment delivers very natural results, once healed. Filler is great for creating volume in your lips, but lip blush delivers a more natural look and give the illusion of fuller lips.

THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW
Pre Procedure

Avoid caffeine and/or alcohol 24 hours prior to procedure

Exfoliate lips using a gentle lip scrub for 3 days prior to procedure.

Hydrate lips daily for 7 days prior to procedure using a lip balm.

Contraindicated if you’re pregnant, breastfeeding, diabetic, clients with immunological disorders, prone to keeloids, any skin condition or dermatitis on or around area which procedure will be performed.

Clients who are prone to cold sores (herpes labialis) it is recommended taking Acyclovir (Zovirax) to prevent outbreak. Contact your physician for prescription.

Anesthetics using Lidocane and Epinephrine will be used before and during procedure.

Appointment Duration: 2.5 hrs

Post Procedure

Apply a lip balm daily for 7 days (make sure to use a brand new unused product with no color and scent).

No lipstick or makeup on/around the area for first 5 days.

No kissing for 7 days post procedure.

Avoid hot drinks and drinks that stain (i.e. red wine, coffee) for 10 days. You may use a straw if needed.

Avoid raw, spicy and foods with dyes (i.e. Açaí, carpaccio, foods with paprika powder) for 10 days.

*If lips stain it will remain stained for close to 7 months before it starts to fade.

Drink ONLY out of a straw for first 3 days.

Avoid sun, beach, sauna, excessive sweating for 10 days.

Do NOT itch, scratch, pick or bite at any scabs.

Expect mild swelling immediately after procedure, should subside within 24 hours.

Durability: Approximately 2 years
