1. This competition is organised by @heymamalife (Ashleigh Knox) and three other Instagram Influencers outlined in the entry mechanic on the link (the “Promoter/s”), and @Dotcom_dist / Dotcom Dist (the “Brand”).
2. The competition is open to permanent residents and citizens of South Africa except any employee, director, member, partner, agent or consultant or any person directly or indirectly who controls or is controlled by the Promoter/s and Brand and/or immediate family members, employee, director, member, partner, agent or consultant of or person indirectly or directly in control or controlled by the Promoter/s and Brand, their advertising agencies, advisers, dealers, suppliers and, its affiliates and/or associated companies (“Disqualified Persons”). Another “Influencer”, “Social Media Blogger” or “Celebrity” who has fairly entered, and has been randomly drawn as a finalists or winner, is not under such Disqualified Persons, and is fairly qualified to win.
3. By entering the competition, all participants and winners agree to be bound by these rules which will be interpreted by the Promoter/s and @heymamalife, whose decision regarding any dispute will, subject to any consumer rights under the Consumer Protection Act, be final and binding.
@heymamalife reserves the right to amend, modify, change, postpone, suspend or cancel this Competition and any prize/s (which have not yet been subject to a draw), or any aspect thereof, without notice at any time, for any reason which the Promoter/s reasonably deem necessary before the Winner is drawn and announced.
4. The “MacBook competition” commences on 17 November 2021 and ends on 02 December 2021, at midnight, The prize draw occurred on 06 December 2021.
5. The prize value is R17,999 (a new Apple MacBook Air in silver), which has already been purchased by “The Brand” (Dotcom Dist) and therefore no exchange of Prize may take place. The prize has been purchased by and will be delivered to “The Winner” by Dotcom Dist, only. @heymamlife is not liable for the prize purchase, financial contribution or delivery, and is solely acting as a Social Media Influencer to promote “The Brand’s” prize and giveaway.
6. To stand a chance of winning the Prize, participants must successfully complete the following steps on one of the five participating accounts, which includes @heymamalife’s account:
6.1 Follow all five participating Instagram Accounts, including @heymamalife, the other Promoter/s and The Brand.
6.2 Like the Competition Instagram Post the entrant is choosing to enter on. The entrant does not need to complete all steps on all five accounts.
6.3 Tag other accounts on separate comments in the Competition Instagram Post. One comment is accepted as one entry, if all other steps are completed.
6.4 An extra entry may be given if the participant shares the Competition Post to their Instagram story and tags the Promoter/s. Extra entries are recorded from an Instagram Story Share summary.
To enter the competition, participants will be asked to provide their contact and daytime delivery information if they are announced as “The Winner.”
7. An electronically generated random draw will take place after the giveaway has ended, on Thursday, 02 December 2021. The electronic draw will take place on “Instagram Comment Picker.” Instagram Comment Picker is a free giveaway picker tool to select a random name and finalists or winner for an Instagram contest or giveaway. This tool can be used to choose random winners or finalists for Instagram Business and Instagram Creator accounts which are connected to a Facebook page.
@heymamalife’s finalist will be selected using this random electronic system, from all entries that have been submitted on @heymamalife’s post only. The random finalists electronically drawn will go into a final physical draw (which includes the other finalists), shared on video camera to Instagram Stories. @heymamalife will not be held liable for the selecting of the other finalists from the other Promoter/s or The Brand.

Should the last day of the month fall either on a Saturday, Sunday or Public Holiday in the Republic of South Africa, then such draw shall take place on the next succeeding day which is not a Saturday, Sunday or Public Holiday. If the draw is taken place after this, participants and audiences will be made aware. Only one winner will be physically drawn (“Lucky Draw of Names In A Hat”) from the randomly electronically selected finalists.
The Prize will be notified by The Promoter/s and The Brand through an Instagram Story, whereby the Winner will be tagged through a direct message notification. If however the winner cannot be reached after 4 (four) attempts have been made during normal business hours within a period of 72 (seventy-two) hours for any reason whatsoever, the Prize will be forfeited and another winner will be selected in accordance with the Rules at the sole and absolute discretion of The Promoter/s.
8. If required by the Minister for Trade and Industry, The Competitions Act of South Africa, the Lotteries Board or for any other reason whatsoever, @heymamalife will be entitled to terminate the “MacBook Air Competition” and draw immediately without notice to entrants. In such an event all entrants and/ or finalists and winners hereby waive any rights which they may have against @heymamalife.
9. Participants may enter the competition as many times as they wish provided that every “entry” will be a unique Instagram tag (different Persons) in the comments section on the Competition Post.
10. Entries which are unclear, illegible, are submitted via an incorrect entry mechanism or contain errors or from Disqualified Persons will be declared invalid.
11. @heymamalife is not liable for any defect in the Prize delivered. All ancillary costs, including but not limited to purchasing costs, transport, personal and incidental expenses or other fees applicable are the responsibility of “The Brand” and the Winner. If the Prize is not delivered by The Brand for whatever reason, @heymamalife cannot be financially liable.
12. Should any dispute arise in relation to the interpretation of these competition rules, @heymamalife’s decision shall be final and no correspondence shall be entered into.
13. All participants and The Winner, as the case may be, indemnify the Promoter/s, its advertising agencies, advisers, nominated agents, suppliers, its affiliates and/or associated companies against any and all claims of any nature whatsoever arising out of and/or from their participation in any way howsoever in this promotional competition (including, as a result of any act or omission, whether as a result of negligence, misrepresentation, misconduct or otherwise on the part of the Promoter/s and/or use of the Prize).
14. This Competition is not affiliated with Instagram, Facebook or Meta.
15. All participants must reside in South Africa to qualify, and be over the legal Instagram Usage Age of 13 years old.
16. The Brand may require the winner and/or their partners to be identified, photographed and the photographs published in social or printed media, or to appear on radio, when accepting their Prize and/or after having received their Prize. The winner and/or their partners will be given the opportunity to decline to the publication of their images and marketing material. @heymamalife will not require photographic evidence, but if publicly shared on social media, @heymamalife may re-share this publication to their audience.

No winner or finalist will be announced on another Instagram Account acting as @heymamalife, no credit card details will be required for entry, and @heymamalife is in no way liable for any spam accounts, or information and monies shared by an entrant to a spam account falsely relating to this competition. Entrants to please be aware of this.
