About

Hi there, I’m Grey (they/them). I am a non-binary artist living, working, and creating in Portland, Oregon. Originally from Texas, my work honors the lineage of fiber artists within my family and is translated through multiple mediums and modern visions, including textile weaving, apparel construction, and crochet making.

To capture the elements, textures, colors, and movement my work embodies I use digital and film photography.

I am inspired by the geography of the Pacific Northwest, the connection of earth and body, soft textural elements, gender beyond the binary, collective wisdom and wonder, Southern femmes, the cosmos, music, and the ocean.

Outside of my art, my focus is to cultivate rest, joy, and satisfaction in my life while re-imagining a future without capitalism. Spending quality time with those I love, connecting over a homemade meal, and swimming in the juicy details of the human experience are moments I cherish.
