Hi! I’m Heather, and I’m a fine art photographer and retoucher. My main focus for now is self portraiture, but I absolutely love creating art with others! I find self portraits cathartic and a way to express myself in ways I’m just unable to with words. It also gives me the chance to slow down, get out of my head, be patient, and trust the process,

I have an art degree from Golden West College and have mentored under many talented photographers and retouchers. It all started in my parents garage with no formal knowledge or training, just curiosity and passion. From there, I worked and learned alongside amateur models, makeup artists, hairstylists and designers. Eventually I found my niche in portrait photography where I was able to fully allow myself to photograph the true beauty I see in the everyday woman. Now I use these acquired skills to create magic with whoever is willing to step in front of my lens.
