As someone who knows what it is like to be a working parent, I understand the stress of choosing and using a daycare provider in an extremely personal way. I feel that my personal experiences allow me insight into your daily needs as a client.
I run my business from my home because Family Child Care is an incredibly personal and an emotional occupation, and I love this aspect of it!! It allows me to get closer to my family and cater to my family’s needs and desires.
My name is Kirsten, but that can be a little difficult for some to pronounce correctly, so I will also accept to go by Kay. I am currently 22 years old. I have been working with children since I was 11 years old, having my Autistic & non-verbal cousin 8-10 hours a day, including handling her seizures daily. I also helped raise my baby brother during this time. During my senior year of high school I volunteered at our preschool in my hometown. I graduated from my hometown high school in Kewanee, IL. I moved to Pekin, IL after meeting my boyfriend Conner in 2022. I have become a stepmom figure in his son’s life and I have known him since he was 1. My little family consists of Conner, his son Zeke, 1 little dog Blitzen, and 2 cats Rocky and Charolais.
Zeke loves making new friends! He is such a lovable and smart little boy. Zeke is currently 2 years old and will be 3 in June. Zeke loves dinosaurs, Bluey, Blues Clues, Blippi, and so much more! He can’t wait to meet his new friends that come along! Zeke will be attending Hunny Bee’s Daycare, every other week. Although Zeke is not my child, I treat him as if he were. I would treat all of the children equally with love and respect welcoming them into my Daycare.
