-(*SELL would be up-to you off course)

-KEEP: can be organized by season so you can visually have in front of you what you need right away.
-DONATION Drop offs (for a small fee$$ I can bring it to wherever they accept donations)
-TRASH: I will help throw out the trash in your trash cans.

  2. ORGANIZING

    ORGANIZING

After I Declutter then the organizing begins! Most important process. I will fold neatly using your space and/or using any storage you have. If you are looking to buy storage containers then we will evaluate and see what fits best. Most importantly everything will be organized and free of clutter.

People often spend more money than they need to organizing because they run out and buy bins to "organize" first. The problem? When you run out to buy bins before you declutter, you are likely spending money on bins to organize that you don't need.
When you declutter first, you get rid of items you no longer need which means you'll ultimately need fewer bins than you first think. The results are more money in your pocket or more money for higher quality organizing tools

  3. UNPACKING

    UNPACKING

I will help you unpack your boxes to your new home and put away whatever you need to it’s space. Whether it’s in your closets, rooms, kitchen, pantry etc…..

Hey, I’m Raquel!

I help busy moms and families simplify their lives by decluttering their homes & creating beautiful, functional spaces where they can thrive.

I’m so excited you’re here. I’m the founder of (i.cease.clutter) I’m originally from New York and now live in North Carolina with my husband of 15 years and have 2 wonderful daughters and son ages 11, 12, and 22 alongside our silly Pit Max. I was born in Puerto Rico but raised in NY my whole life. I come from a big family, I’m the youngest of 10.

I worked 15 years in a hospital, resigned after that and became a stay home mom to raise my 2 small children. Then I turned to the entrepreneur lifestyle. I worked in different MLM’s, selling health and wellness and other services.

I decided to go back to school and study nutrition and became a Certified Health Coach. I just wanted to find a way to help people. Having the experience of working in the medical field, seeing so many suffering physically and mentally, I knew more needed to be done.

Not only did I learn nutrition, I learned why so many suffer from and all sorts of anxieties in life, including procrastination and hoarding. Why we have bad habits, and why we struggle to stay focused and move forward in life whether it’s through relationships, work, keeping organized, or eating healthy. I knew this was definitely my calling. So I worked with a few clients here and there and that went well until me and my family decided to move to North Carolina.

Living in NC, I realized through social media and communities that the majority of people and families were struggling to keep up with their busy lives. Their homes were chaotic, messy and just trying to cope with whatever life threw at them. I said to myself if I’m able to multitask and keep my home organized and have a functional life, I can help many do the same. I’ve always functioned better by being organized and having a clutter free home, and mentally it’s been great for me and I know that this can resonate with others if they struggled too.

Fast forward to today I still love organizing and keeping my family on their toes to keep our home clutter free. I feel that even though I’ve had a busy life juggling 3 kids I’ve been able to keep organized and our home pretty decent with techniques. That’s when I decided to start creating my business. I can help many families in keeping their homes free of clutter and spaces they can enjoy. Life doesn’t have to be perfect but when you have an organized home, you can find things easily and life does become more pleasant. Just by making your bed daily can have a positive effect.

After getting married and having kids I had to adjust my organizing priorities. Juggling it all can be exhausting and stressful. Trying to get everyone on board to keep organized has been the hardest, but I’ve managed to do so. I believe that getting organized is more than just creating stylish, functional spaces. It’s about simple systems that can make it feel easy to maintain. A home that can feel calm and comfortable. I understand how messy a family can be. It’s ok, because it shows we are living. So, by allowing me to come to your home free of judgement I can help you feel less overwhelmed and more in control of focusing on more important things, like family time. My goal is to make your life easier, long after I leave. I hope to hear from you soon! 🥰

Free recommendations to simplify your home!💝

Recommendation #1

1. FOCUS ON WHAT'S IN YOUR CLOSET RIGHT NOW.

This tip is for those who, like me, swap out the clothes in their closet seasonally. Focus on the clothes at hand right now.

2. GET RID OF VISIBLE TRASH.

We all have random closet clutter that we tend to overlook - empty shopping bags, old shoeboxes, receipts we no longer need, random pictures, the list goes on! Get rid of it!

3. DECLUTTER BY CATEGORY.

When you closet edit by category, only removing one group of items at a time, you don't have to carve out an entire day to conduct a closet purge. Nor do you have to live with a pile of clothes on your bedroom floor until you have enough time to go through it.

Okay, here's the process you'll want to follow to declutter by category...

1. Create a high-level list of items in your closet.

2. Pick one category to focus on and remove everything from your closet that falls into that category.

3. Sort items from your single-category pile into 4 smaller piles and take action:

- Keep

- Donate

- Sell

- Trash

4. Once you've gone through one full category, move on to the next one.

By building it in to your weekly or daily routine, you can still achieve the desired end result (a successful closet cleanout) without a major fuss.

Recommendation #2

1. Make your bed.

If just the thought of trying to keep your bedroom clean 24/7 is enough to send you into an anxiety spiral, commit to a smaller task like making your bed every day. That one action feels a lot more manageable, and once you solidify the habit, you can move on to another small step to make your space feel a bit tidier.

2. Break organizational tasks into chunks.

A lot of people who have ADHD struggle to "activate," or start tasks, so breaking a to-do down into smaller steps can make it easier to get started.

3. Do a start-of-day or end-of-day clean.

You've probably seen the satisfying morning and evening cleaning videos on Tik Tok, which some users call their homes' opening and closing shifts. And it turns out they're onto something. Cleaning a high-traffic area of your home, like your kitchen or office, for 10 to 15 minutes every day can ensure that the mess doesn't get out of hand.

4. Find a permanent home for the things you lose.

If you're always misplacing your keys put a hook right by your door and try to get in the habit of hanging your keys there every time you come home. Having designated areas where important items like your mask, phone, keys, and wallet live can be a great strategy if you feel like you're constantly looking for those things when you wanna get out the door.

5. Buy a basket for clean, need-to-put-away clothes.

If your room is currently covered in clothes you tried on and changed out of or wore once and threw on the ground before bed, this one's for you. Because it can be tempting to just toss these clean clothes in the dirty laundry hamper and move on with your life OR procrastinate putting them away for days (or weeks? No judgment), have two baskets in the rooms-one for clean clothes and one for dirty clothes. This way, your bedroom will feel more organized even if you don't have time to hang your clothes back up until later.

6. Use clear bins to sort things. This way you have the visibility of what’s stored in them, sometimes it’s quicker to see them.

7. Get a planner (and check it often).

8. Categorize your tasks.

9. Try time blocking.

10. Experiment with set focus time.

11. Use the buddy system. Get an accountability partner to keep you on track and check in on you often.

Recommendation #3

1. Less is more. It’s better to simplify and not have your home look like there’s clutter everywhere.
2. I agree with spending a little to organize but do not break the bank. Buying simple solutions to keep all your stuff organized can help make your home look neat.

Examples:
1.lazy Susans to be able to access your stuff you use daily.
2. A bin, basket, tray to keep everything in it’s place so it doesn’t take up all your space or counter tops.
3. This one is my favorite observe where everyone drops their belongings such as keys, mail, jackets, book bags, toys and create drop zones for these items. Instead frustrating yourself cleaning up after everyone adhere to their habits to make things easier for yourself.
4. Remember we can’t change everyone and their habits but we can meet them halfway and teach them ways to minimize the mess.
