Outside the maze was sunshine enough to see the towering walls of steel and concrete. The late evening was quiet enough to hear the moans of those who had tried before me and lost our minds. I was chosen to brave the maze, still being an unsolved puzzle how we can get in, stuck in this ridiculous maze.

I couldn't even remember how they took me here, in ᴛʜᴇxɢʟᴀᴅᴇs. Everything was totally blank.

. . . until the lost fragment of memory reverted piecemeal to the surface . . . those obstreperous voices echoed in my head.

"𝘗𝘢𝘳𝘬 𝘑𝘪𝘮𝘪𝘯. 𝘏𝘦𝘺? 𝘊𝘢𝘯 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘳 𝘮𝘦? 𝘠𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘯𝘢𝘮𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘛𝘪𝘮𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘺 𝘗𝘢𝘳𝘬. 𝘌𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘴 𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘯𝘢 𝘣𝘦 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵.

And nausea crept from my abdomen to my head and the world went black.

Dang !
I was aware when I was forgetting, when there was something close yet hidden, yet I cannot in that moment fathom what it could be.

The next sequence I remember is, I woke up from that nightmare and was somehow here, with the others. I know that something wrong surrounds this maze, yet none of us know what is happening out there.

"We are the chosen ones," said them. "We have to survive no matter what or we die for nought."
