As a former philanthropist, wife, mother, and now Real Estate Agent and Investor, I am well acquainted with the means necessary to break free from a mundane existence and embrace the life of your dreams.

Success ultimately hinges on readiness, diligence, and the knack for approaching matters with a fresh perspective, whether that means excelling as a spouse, earning the title of "Mother of the Year," making shrewd investments, or navigating the ever-changing real estate market.

At the young age of 24, I embarked on a journey of renovating houses and have since expanded my knowledge by working with diverse investment properties such as multi-unit complexes, single-family rentals and vacation homes. Throughout my experience, not only have I discovered my own preferences in a home, but I have also gained insight into the desires of others.

Born and raised in Virginia Beach, VA, I earned my Bachelor of Science in Human Services Counseling from Old Dominion University in 2002. For over a decade, I worked in Child and Adult Protective Services, investigating cases of abuse and neglect while providing essential support to at-risk individuals and families.

Motherhood led me to transition from social work into sales, where I have successfully built a thriving network across multiple platforms over the past six years. My passion for real estate has always been strong, and I recognized an opportunity to merge my background in social work—specifically my ability to listen, guide, and advocate for others—with my sales expertise. Though I once considered a career change too risky, an exciting opportunity to relocate to Florida’s Gulf Coast changed everything.

My family and I fell in love with Anna Maria Island in 2016, and when the chance arose to make it our permanent home, we embraced the adventure. My partner of 20 years, Shawn, works in property management on the island, and we are raising our teenage daughter alongside our two dogs and one wild island rescue kitty!

Today, I am proud to co-found The Island Girls real estate team with Lily. Together, we are dedicated to helping clients find their dream homes in this beautiful paradise we live in. I truly believe that my combined experience in social work and sales and Lily’s extensive experience in the real estate and investing world make us THE BEST duo to represent YOU.
