Welcome to The Creative Control Freak!
My name's Shadé, I'm from London, and I'm currently in my last year of study at the University of Birmingham.

I've spent the past two years waiting for my degree to churn up a module that I could dedicate my creative energy to but it just hasn't happened. I wanted a space where I could rave about good food, chat about why it's okay to not always feel your best, and debate whether oversized teddy coats will become a classic A/W wardrobe staple.

Whether you're a full-time foodie and fashion lover like me, a stressed student (also me) or you're simply looking for some pretty pictures and mind jumble to spice up your day, I hope my natterings and aesthetic obsessions make you smile as much as chocolate fudge cake makes me die with happiness.

Yes, I like to have an immaculate room at all times and I plan every day of my life down to the hour, which I guess makes me a control freak, but I'm a creative one so don't be alarmed!
