Tiara Michele is a 24 year old professional dancer, choreographer, performer, and dance instructor from Dickinson, Texas. Product of Lamar University and San Jacinto college, her training includes Jazz, Contemporary, Modern, Ballet, Cheer and Hip Hop, favoring Graham and Dunham techniques.
Accolades:
Tiara has made a name for herself around Houston, Tx, choreographing and touring with rising artists such as Tobe Nwigwe and working with stars such as Solange Knowles and PJ Morton. Her signature style of dance is a spicy blend of Jazzy-Funk and Contemporary, always challenging herself and others to create outside of the box. Currently Tiara is co-choreographer of the Black Angels Dance Collective, Captain of NexPro Elites, and an active member in the performance and dance community in Houston working with companies such as Urban Souls, The Ensemble Theater, Houston City Dance, and Groundwork Studios.
Youth Leader:
Being a dance instructor for over 7 years, Tiara loves working with kids because dance is a great expressional tool for the youth and she loves challenging their minds and bodies to think beyond the social “Norm”. Truly devoted to dance, Tiara hopes to make a staple in the dance community with her enthusiastic concepts and edgy ideas, and by teaching others to truly love and appreciate dance.
