Since that’s the case, I won’t bore you with the logistics or the stats of businesses that invest in their bigger picture versus those that don’t take that leap of faith.

What I will do is give you some food for thought.

Are you ready for me?

Most of us who embark on our own businesses do so with a fixed vision in mind. Whether it’s because we want financial freedom, or to spend more time with loved ones. Maybe it’s to expand our horizons, or to be free of that boss or manager (you know who I’m talking about). The list goes on. If you think about it, all of these reasons have a common denominator. It’s to better ourselves, right? To become our best version and to feel in control of our futures, simply to live the way we’re supposed to.

Now take a look around, take a second and think of that desk overflowing with papers, that laptop with way too many tabs open, that phone with the plethora of notes and reminders and alarms going off so you remember to do all those pesky back end things to keep your business going. Let’s not even speak of those dark circles from staying up late trying to play catch-up, see where I’m going with this? Do you feel free? Or do you feel like you’re well on your way to becoming that annoying boss that overworks and underpays you, to yourself? Was this the dream?

The choice is in your hands, overwork and over stress yourself, or work someone else and free up your time for whatever you dreamed of when you first looked at that “apply for your employer ID number“ page and took that shot in the dark.
