About Me

I moved to Minneapolis, MN in 2018 shortly after finishing college. One of the highlights of this city is the diversity of cultures represented by the food scene. I was going out to eat pretty frequently, trying new restaurants and exploring the city. @carbieeebarbieee on Instagram was my first project that I started, posting pictures and reviews of the places I would go. Somehow, that project snowballed into learning how to market and strategize content for social media. A few short months later, I began my first business working as a freelance Social Media Consultant. The business lasted for a year, and I still work with a few clients from time to time. While that chapter of my life was great, I’m way overdue for a fresh start.

@carbieeebarbiee is dead. That sweet old account retired and is now my newest project, @izziethrifts. Thrifting is something I do pretty frequently (aka every single day of my life) and sharing it with you guys seems like the most logical thing to do. Thanks for stopping by :)
