Meet Jaime Green
Connecting vision, passion and purpose.
Writer. Producer. On-Air Host. Content Creator. Storyteller.
Jaime Green is a Senior Producer and On-Air Host at ATL-PBA (Atlanta’s #1 PBS Station) in Atlanta, Georgia.
For more than a decade, Jaime has left her imprint on television to social media and most recently radio.
Since receiving her Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism at Morgan State University (2011), she has served as a mentor to dozens of future journalists.
Jaime has not just merely thrived in a forever-growing industry---she is a leading force both behind and in front of the lens.
This New Jersey native has great passion for writing, producing, breaking news, storytelling, pop culture, and all things social media.
Jaime’s journalistic abilities in covering hard news stories is nothing she shies away from---in fact, during the summer of 2016 it was her efforts that assisted detectives to obtaining new information in a Harford County (MD) murder investigation.
In fall of 2017, Jaime reported on the impact of Child Sex-Trafficking in Maryland, while working at WMAR-ABC2 News and uncovered the latest methods used by traffickers.
It is her perseverance and “Glow-Getter” attitude that has lead her in to rooms to meet and produce some of the most influential people throughout the world; Susan B. Taylor (former Editor-and-Chief, Essence Magazine), April Reign (#OscarsSoWhite Creator), David Oyelowo, as well as legendary musician Cab Calloway’s daughter, just to name a few.
One of her proudest career moments include writing, producing and hosting a special documentary featuring the Center of Civil and Human Rights where she explored Atlanta’s rich history.
Jaime’s continued commitment and belief in others aids how she unites her peers with their purpose. Those who can attest to her uplifting support say she’s been instrumental in helping them bring their visions to fruition.
She is a force to be reckoned with and growing brand influencer. She attributes every success to her unwavering faith, grounding experiences and her strong support system.
The future film maker inspires to work with the likes of Hollywood’s “Who’s who”, while providing opportunities to encourage others to pursue a career in multimedia.
When she isn’t on set, you catch her over the airwaves at WABE 90.1 (NPR) and serving as the “Voice” of ATL-PBA.
Jaime is slated to begin her film directorial debut in 2020.
