My Name is Jasper Sunday Alachu Aka Jaspiro. I'm an Electrical Engr, A traditional Musician, Fashion Designer and NFT Enthusiast. I'm a native from Nigeria. I'm very passionate about values and Cultures.
I'm currently living my dreams and trying to build my Fashion Brand "Jaspiro Designs", handcrafting each designs into a tangible wearable usable item. What makes my creativities so unique is the vision and its utility. My goal is to promote the African Culture through Art. Fashion on its own is Art and Art is life.
My Journey as a fashion designer has really been so exciting and adventurous. I was born into the fashion World. My Mom is a Seamstress. She makes amazing dresses for the African Women in this region. She would always make me and my siblings help her do the finishing touches like cutting of threads, ironing and packaging. I never knew my Mom was preparing me for the future. As little as i was back then, i could pedal a sewing machine. Like I will always say, " We all have a gift inside of us which needs a trigger to bring it into manifestation ". I got my trigger when I was in highschool. One of my lady friend posted a video clip of her creativities on her WhatsApp status. I fell in love with her creativities at first sight. My heart told me this was my passion and I decided to venture into craft making. I learnt how to make wearable Crafts on YouTube. My inspiration was Hesey Designs. I would always invest any little money I make from playing African Music into my passion "Jaspiro Designs". Truth be told, it wasn't easy starting up a fashion brand from the scratch with no support. I kept pursuing my dreams because my goal was for the world to discover the beauties of Africa through wearable Crafts. Due to the lack of Funds, I couldn't afford to pay social media influencers and radio stations for Adverts. One of my major challenge was the Audience. I tried hawking my creativities on the streets so as to get my products to the market. Many of my highschool friends would always laugh at me because I was hawking my creativities on the streets but I never let that get into my head. Many of the market women I met, priced my products lesser than what there were worth. They knew I wasn't experienced enough and my products is still yet to get into the market. They will always want to take advantage of that privilege. Another Challenge I faced was the insufficient power supply in this region. My skill requires adequate power distribution to foster its supply. I'm so grateful to the universe for how far I've gone. I always listen to my inspiration's (Hesey Design) advice, teachings and Alphas. It has really encouraged me to keep moving on. My Slogan ever since i started was "If Hesey Designs could achieve her dreams of having her own Fashion Brand despite all the challenges she faced, then I can do same". What many fail to understand is this "The Journey of a thousand miles begins with just one bold step and little drops of water makes an Ocean". Some are afraid of failing even before starting. Patience has really taught me a lot and I'm so grateful to myself for not giving up. I found out about NFTs early 2022 and by May 2, 2022, I officially joined the world of NFTs. That date is so significant to me because it's my birthday and I love how special it makes me feel. The world is getting so digitalized by the day.
