The historic church is also one of the many tourist attractions and landmarks of Balingasag. The Balingasag Catholic Church, also known as Santa Rita de Cascia Parish Church, is an old brick church that has stood proudly for over 100 years. It was built by Spanish Jesuit Missionaries in the 18th century, and believe it or not, it is still standing today. After all, it is the ancestral structures that distinguish Balingasag from other towns. It symbolizes the town's age, wonders, and long history.

Balingasag Nature Park & Baywalk
If you enjoy visiting outdoor attractions in your spare time, Balingasag is a great area to visit. Barangay Linabu is one of Balingasag's most spectacular mountain views. It has a view of the dam and Cabulig Hydroelectric Power Plant, which are located in Barangay Plaridel, Claverai, directly across the Cabulig River. Not only that, but there was also the Balingasag Nature Park in Balagnan, Balingasag, Misamis Oriental. The location is ideal for overnight camping, with views of Macajalar Bay and Punta Gorda, as well as a sea of clouds above the mountain ranges. If you enjoy nature and mountains, this is the spot for you; it is a haven of solitude and tranquility.

Balingsag People’s Park
Aside from being one of Misamis Oriental's busiest parks, Balingasag's People's Park is a great spot to unwind and re-energize. This magnificent park stretches for miles and has some truly unique elements such as a little fountain beneath our national hero's statue, a gazebo surrounded by friendly people, and other things to delight and entertain. You will enjoy talking, making new acquaintances, meeting new people, practicing dances, and eating street cuisine. Kwek kwek, Balut or Penoy, Proben, Siomai, Buko, and Sweet Corn were all favorites among the locals. This is Balingasagnons' favorite hangout spot, especially for kids from the several Balingasag schools.
Memory square
Let's say you want to come for a great family bonding experience or just to unwind and relax. Memory Square is a restaurant near Balingasag's bay walk, located behind the People's Palace. It was created to memorialize Philippine World War II veterans, and it features a monument with a figure of a soldier holding a Garand rifle in the center. Sinulog and Bangus Festival
Not only Cebu City, but also BALINGASAG, celebrated and anticipated the Sinulog Festival. The festival's grandeur has earned it the label "Mother of All Festivals" among Filipinos. The Sinulog Festival never ceases to astonish its audience, from the dancers' colorful and well-made costumes to the stunning dances and music provided by the drums, trumpets, and native gongs. Along with the gorgeous beaches and historical views, this is one of Balingasag's most proud attractions. This big event should not be missed because of the large number of people who want to see the traditional celebration and the beauty of the culture it represents. The Sakay-Sakay Festival is also held at Balingasagnons, when people ride small boats or Bangkas while carrying a statue of St. Nino and dancing it in the sea.
To show appreciation for the Municipality's strong aquaculture, particularly the abundant bangus or milk fish harvest, the Bangus Festival is held! Every May 22, the day of Balingasag, also known as "Araw ng Balingasag," is honored. Even though locals do not celebrate as much as those in Dagupan City, the Philippines' Bangus Capital, Balingasagnon celebrates "Sugba-sugba sa Kalye" to promote milkfish, which is also one of Balingasag's trademarks and a primary source of income for some residents.

People’s Palace
The most compelling reason for Balingasag's visit was the municipal building's Palace-like appearance. It was created to resemble and emulate the Malacanang Palace, which is located in the township. It was completed in 2009 and renamed People's Palace afterwards

Well, in Balingasag, malls such as Gaisano Capital and Prince Hypermart have begun to impact and rise, and where nearby municipalities buy their groceries in Balingasag, which keeps municipalities active. Locals also do not need to travel to the city to sample the best of Jollibee because it has expanded in Balingasag.
