My name is Jen Kavanagh and 3 years ago, I WISH someone would have told me what I am going to tell you today...

Feeling exhausted is not your 'new normal' as a Mom or Dad.
Struggling to get out of the bed is not 'part of being 47.
Naps are not something people just need.
Slowing down is not 'just a thing that happens with age'.
Coffee, soda and energy drinks are NOT 'lifesavers' or 'lifelines'

These are ALL things I thought before Thrive... When I found myself in my 40’ s thinking the general discomforts, creakiness, lacking restful sleep, relying on caffeine, inability to go all day without hitting a wall, and feelings of never being caught up in life were just part of the deal. I thought aging meant groaning when I got up and down, dealing with digestive challenges, and the fluffy parts of my body finding new unfavorable spots to hang out.

One sample from my cousin + 1 year later with 3 steps every single morning, I now know that it was always a lie that we are doomed to fall apart. I feel better than I did when I turned 30! I am walking 3 miles a day again, waking up before my alarm, eating healthy and drinking water ( bye soda ) , chasing kids, and in better shape now than a decade ago! I AM a lifelong Thriver! No way I ever want to return to feeling like I am the whim of time or age, or like it is anything other than completely up from here!

Stop handing yourself permission to accept less for yourself! I wish I could have made those changes years earlier so that I could reclaimed all those years I spent surviving. You are made to Thrive!
