Before I became my highest self I was a full time college student working long 12 hour shifts at a restaurant for a year and a half to make a little cash to help get by. I had no idea what I wanted to do let alone study so I kept changing my major hoping I would find the one that best suited me but I was never fully drawn to any of them. Once covid came along and GA started shutting down my parents told me to stop working because they didn’t want me to at risk of getting the virus so I quit my job and began to stay home. While being at home for a month I made a promise to myself that the girl walking into quarantine was not going to be the same girl walking out of quarantine. I tried working out hoping that if I felt better about my body, it would solve most of my problems but that wasn’t the case. After a few months of working out at home, I still wasn’t feeling the satisfaction that I so much craved. I stopped working out and began spending my days in my bed, going to sleep at 5am and waking up at 4pm binge watching anything that I could find on Netflix, and all together living an unhealthy life. After a few months, I reflected on the promise I had made to myself when quarantine first started and began hoping that an opportunity to turn my life around would show up and it soon did.

In July, when GA was in stage 2 of the lockdown, I noticed that my best friend had joined a team of empowering men and women who changed her entire perspective on life and all together had everything I craved. She then presented the business to me and I instantly took it and ran with it. On July 7th, 2020, I joined the team that changed my life. I went from being the 95% of normal people who life a life they truly don’t want to live, to becoming the 5% of people who live the life they truly desire. I finally fulfilled the promise I made to myself and I never looked back. The girl who walked into quarantine is a girl I don’t know or recognize today. I am mentoring and inspiring those who need it and I am paving the path of my dreams and this is only the beginning.
