My name is Jessica Gonzalez and I've been on Instagram for the past 6 years. I graduated from nursing school in December 2010, and jumped right into correctional nursing! I've worked in many other nursing settings, but I always find myself back in corrections, its my passion. I was always the kind of nurse to work crazy over time, which involved traveling to different correctional sites.
In February 2018, I was blessed with the birth of my daughter! My entire life and identity was flipped on its head as I could no longer work as much and I found myself suffering from postpartum depression. One of the contributing factors to my depression was the hair loss! I tried EVERYTHING for 2 years with no results, and actually causing myself more damage by switching products constantly. Around June 2020, I finally started to see SOME growth. Then on July 6th, 2020 I received news that I had contracted Covid at work. The very small progress I had made on my hair was lost as one of the side effects of Covid is hair loss. At the end of July, I finally decided to give Monat a shot and by August 5th, I was already seeing incredible growth. I'm so glad I took a chance on the line as it has saved my hair!
Now, in October 2020 I am proud to have signed on as a Monat market partner in hopes of helping many more women take their life back!
