About me

My name is Jess Lee and I am 19 years old. I am from Coquitlam, BC, Canada. I decided to turn professional in 2021 after a successful junior/amateur career in Canada and South Korea. I am currently playing on the Vancouver Golf tour.

Junior/Amateur career

I first grabbed a golf club at the age of 3 years old. At 6, I started competing in tournaments and was qualified to play in the Junior World Golf Championship three times at the age of 8,9,10. I also played in the 2014 BC Summer Games, coming in 3rd place individually and winning as a team for Zone3. In 2015, I moved to South Korea to play golf. I represented Team Seoul for both 2015 and 2016 and won the Seoul National Championship presented by Etoday Papers with a career low of 65 on the first day and a 71 on the second day. The following year, I won the National Kunkook University Championship. I came back home to Canada the next year and in 2019, played in the Zone3 Summer Tour where I won three events out the six and came 1st in the order of merrit. A couple months later, I competed in the BC Amateur Championship in Pemberton, BC and came 5th.

Professional Golf

I decided to turn professional in 2021. I am currently playing on Vancouver Golf Tour. In 2021, I had four top 10 finishes and a career best T2 in the VGT Winter Tour at Pagoda Ridge GC shooting -2 for the day.
