Hello!

I am a highly motivated third year nursing student at Ryerson University. I am very excited to jumpstart my nursing career and would welcome opportunities where I can bring my strong communication, critical thinking, time management, and collaborative skills.

Currently, I have a virtual clinical placement focusing on Disaster and Emergency Preparedness. My previous in-person placements at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre - St. John’s Rehab, Michael Garron Hospital and West Park Healthcare Centre have given me experience in the care of amputee patients, clients with chronic comorbidities, and elderly residents who have suffered from injury or stroke. Furthermore, I understand and possess the organizational, reliability, and interpersonal skills necessary to have in a fast-paced environment because of my past experiences in various customer service positions.

Additionally, throughout my nursing education, I have contributed and led various team facilitations in health promotion and health education to provide reliable evidence based information to my colleagues and clients. With various online businesses and other extracurriculars to take care of, I had to be flexible and self-motivated in my approach to fulfill my various roles in different team environments. As a result of my personal efforts in collaborative teamwork initiatives in both school and at work, our group delivered valuable information to clients successfully and my business colleagues and I were able to meet our monthly goals.

All in all, I am very much looking forward to utilizing transferable skills and knowledge I have developed through my nursing experience in collaborative teamwork environments to any other opportunity or position offered to me.
