Always facinated in shadow work. Please check out my finished stage designs!! 😁
I was thinking of shadows of skeletal trees for my projection work until I found this photograph. So it gave me a fantastic idea to turn this photo to black and white because why not! 😉🤗
This photo was found as I was on my way to the bus station. I felt the idea of this photograph would pleasingly flow well with my stage-set product design, so I thought why give it a go capturing such marvellous landscape. 👍🏻😁👍🏻
This photo was taken in a total different location, capturing a enormous skeletal tree that has it's own individual branches stretching out to the sky as if it's asking for fresh air. What I genuinely found exceedingly captivating is the fact how I turned my original photograph into black and white siloute in direct captures the eye of the viewers.
As you scroll down to each of these sketchwork, most of the sketch I have done so far was drawn in black chalk and charcoal. I found the imagery of the tree branch absolutely intricate. And that's how I got inspired to draw out a tenticled tree branch.
I although have used both charcoal and chalk, I wanted to have a go with the black and white observational drawing. Haven't mentioned that this was a drawing of a skeletal tree outside my window.
Interested to see how each branch stretching out like an octopus
