I was born in Long Beach, California though most of my childhood memories are of Riverside, CA. I moved to Arlington, MA with my three older sisters and my father when I was about 10 years old. You would think that with the 23 years I’ve lived in Massachusetts that I would’ve adapted to the cold but no such luck. Deep down I’m still a Cali girl longing for Palm Trees and Sun.

For high school I decided to do something a little different than my sisters and went to a trade school. It was there that I fell in love with Cosmetology. Actually, I fell in love with everything about high school and Cosmetology. Even with all of the drama and heart aches that come with the teenage experience of high school, it was the place I always felt the safest. Most accepted. Not many can say that. My dream was to be a hairstylist. To one day own my own Salon. Unfortunately, I was shy just a few of the hours I needed in order to take my licensing exam upon graduation. Life has pulled me in many different directions, my dream has yet to become a reality but I still intend to make it happen.

I worked in many salons just so I could stay current and keep that fire in me. Years later I am married with 2 kids and for the first time EVER I was without a job. It made more sense for me to become a stay at home mom. It was at that time in my life that I reached out to an old colleague who told me about an incredible opportunity to grow my own business.... ONLINE! I asked the questions, I did my research, I took the chance! I am so glad I did!

I may not be a licensed hairstylist with my own salon yet, but I do get to provide men and women with a sense of confidence and happiness that comes from having healthy hair! I get to live part of my dream while working from my phone and taking care of my kids!

I am so grateful and now make it my mission to pay it forward by offering that same opportunity to others. I want to empower other women to take a chance and change their lives!
