As a fearless student of life, Jess, better known as JVK, is laser focused on learning about the issues impacting underrepresented groups, namely Black Women, and defining creative ways to enhance their lives.

She has amassed over 13 years of experience in Marketing and Communications spanning multiple industries – Real Estate, Music (SXSW & Austin Jazz Fest), Finance, and most recently Technology. She’s currently an inventive Marketing Operations leader at Dell Technologies, tasked with modernizing the digital content publishing process.

As an altruistic soul, who has always welcomed the opportunity to serve others, she is often called up to advocate for equity amongst BIPOC parents in the workforce, and to champion arts & entertainment diversity projects within overlooked cities across the US.
