JWest Beauty

Hey there friend! I'm so excited you're here!

Thanks for stopping by! I'm Jenny, a 40 year old hot mess wife and mother of 3 (7 if you count my 4-legged fur babies🐾)!

I love being outside whether on the lake fishing or gardening. I have a passion for art and love to draw, paint, and practice lettering. Growing up a carpenter's daughter (and also married to one for 20 yrs), building things and woodworking just run through my blood!

I am always looking for simple and effective products that just help make life a little bit easier.

I have suffered with depression and anxiety all my life and a few years ago I hit rock bottom and completely lost myself. I didn't take care of myself at all and it took major medical issues and lying in the hospital for weeks for me to finally realize that I needed to change. I needed to take care of myself and learn to find ways to cope with depression. This meant finding simple routines that I could manage to stick too; simple skin care, simply beauty, simple exercises, simple recipes, and simple journaling...
Self-care and "me time" is so important for a healthy mind and body. And although beauty is NOT what's on the outside, it sure as heck makes you feel better on the inside when you look/feel beautiful!

One of my goals is to help teach and inspire others that great skin, simple beauty, and a healthy body & mind are possible...even with minimal time or even when you struggle with motivation.

So follow me if you GET this. Follow me if you NEED this. Or just follow me, I’m sure there is something here for you, even if you have it all figured out. 😉

I'd love to have you on this journey with me as I continue my learning of self-love & worth while sharing simple skincare, beauty & mental health strategies that keep me going.

That’s me in a nutshell and what you can expect from my page! Don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions!

"Beauty is an experience, nothing else. It is not a fixed pattern or an arrangement of features. It is something felt, a glow, or a communicated sense of fineness." ~D. H. Lawrence
