Yoga

Yoga is an excellent opportunity to connect to yourself as well as the elements that surround you, and tap into the prana that unites us all.

In Prana Yoga, we focus the mind on connecting body/movement to the breath. Doing so allows us to work with the subtle body and prana, which travels on the breath.

Prana yoga is a slow moving, meditative vinyasa practice that is at once peaceful and intense. It promotes concentration, inner calm and healing, and brings about a greater sense of connection to one’s inner self and surroundings.

Sessions are suitable for all levels, with modifications offered throughout to support your practice. All sessions conclude with a short pranayama (yogic breathing) practice and guided meditation.

Sessions last approximately 1 hour and can be either in person or on Zoom.

Meditation

Meditation is the practice of stilling the mind and controlling the senses.

Meditation is an incredibly powerful way to improve personal balance and work through some of your day-to-day challenges.

•Reduce stress, and achieve a greater sense of calm and inner strength.
•Reach new insights and perspectives, both on yourself and the world around you.
•Improve concentration and reduce specific anxieties and fears, as well as mental and performance-related blocks.
•Achieve greater balance and healing, on a physical, mental/emotional, as well as spiritual level.
•Improve relationships and your sense of connection to all beings and the planet.

I offer private sessions in different meditation techniques, ranging from traditional yogic practices to visualisation meditations —as stand alone practices or combined with breath, body and energy work. We’ll discuss what your goals are and decide on the right approach for you.

Sessions last approximately 45 minutes and can be either in person or on Zoom. 

You’ll also receive the Kahlani Wellness Method handbook pdf, which details some of the philosophy and practices of my approach.

Breath & Energy Work

Everything is made up of energy, and this energy connects us all.

This means that our reality as we know it isn’t fixed, and isn’t outside of our control. Through pranayama (breath) we can tap into this energy, and energy work enables us to influence, balance and alter it.

•Release stress as well as physical and mental/emotional blocks.
•Increase energy and boost immune system.
•Promote focus, awareness, and a sense of connection.
•Influence physical, mental/emotional and spiritual health and balance.

I offer private sessions in different pranayama and energy healing techniques, ranging from traditional yogic breathing practices to chakra and energy work using colour, sound, visualisation and gestures—as stand alone practices or combined with meditation and body work. We’ll discuss what your goals are and decide on the right approach for you.

About

I believe in being happy, and that being more in tune with yourself, all beings and the planet is a great way of achieving that.

Having lived and spent time on four continents, I feel strongly connected to the universe and everyone/thing in it, and I’m at home wherever I go. I’ve learned and adopted elements from every culture I’ve ever lived in.

The Kahlani Wellness Method combines my studies and 20 years of experience in holistic health, Traditional Eastern Medicine and massage with a lifelong passion for yoga, meditation and energy work. I look forward to sharing some of these techniques with you.
