IN THIS PARTICULAR GENERATION , I BELIEVE WE ARE PREOCCUPIED WITH THE POPULARITY PROPORTION OF SOCIAL MEDIA. I WILL ADMIT, THERE ARE TIMES WHERE I HAVE LOOKED BACK ON MY INSTAGRAM PICTURE TO SEE HOW MANY LIKES I RECEIVED. I’M SURE WE ALL HAVE. IT IS NOTHING TO BE ASHAMED OF ; HOWEVER, IT IS SOMETHING THAT WE CAN ALL WORK ON.

MY MOM HAS ALWAYS REMINDED ME THAT WE DON’T GET OUR SELF WORTH FROM THE COMMENTS OR LIKES WE GET ON OUR SELFIES. WE GET OUR SELF WORTH FROM WHO WE ARE ON THE INSIDE. BELIEVE IT OR NOT I HAVE STRUGGLED WITH SELF LOVE. I HAVE A TENDENCY TO COMPARE MYSELF TO OTHERS AND SOCIAL MEDIA IS A MAIN CAUSE OF THAT. WE SHOULD COMPLIMENT OTHERS AND VALUE THEIR QUALITIES. WE SHOULDN’T BE JEALOUS. YOU ARE JUST AS BEAUTIFUL AS KYLIE JENNER! WE ALL HAVE FLAWS AND WE SHOULD EMBRACE THEM.

THIS IS SOMETHING WILD TO THINK ABOUT- WE HAVE TWO EYES, LIPS, A NOSE, AND TWO EARS ,AND SOMEHOW WE ALL LOOK VASTLY DIFFERENT. GOD CREATED YOU AND I TO CREATE DIVERSITY. DIVERSITY IS WHAT MAKES THE WORLD SO SPECIAL AND UNIQUE.

SOCIAL MEDIA’S MAIN PURPOSE IS TO EXPLORE LIFE OUT OF YOUR INNER FRIEND GROUP AND TO BOOST EACH OTHER UP. IT’S PURPOSE IS NOT TO COMPARE YOURSELF TO ONE ANOTHER. IF YOU GET 5 LIKES OR 5,000 LIKES, YOU SHOULD STILL HAVE THE SAME AMOUNT OF SELF LOVE. WE ARE ALL EQUAL ON AND OFF SOCIAL MEDIA MY LOVES.

Here’s to the busy bee … Pause and listen to the music. Take a second from your busy day and simply stop. Stop what you are doing and focus on what matters most. You can only do one thing at a time. Make God your priority ALWAYS, no matter how busy your day tends to be. God won’t give you anything you can’t handle.

Here’s to the girl desperate to look like a Victoria’s Secret model… Our bodies are all precious. Stop analyzing yourself to those girls. God doesn’t care if you’re a size 2 or 12. He cares about YOU. The things I find most beautiful in others are almost never physical. Don’t worry about being “pretty”, let’s be Pretty kind. Pretty strong. Pretty smart. Here’s to the person who didn’t make the team… Don’t give up. When I fall, it only makes me want to work harder. You are your biggest competitor. If you want it bad enough, you will try even harder and come back stronger. Before every track race I repeat to myself,” God has given me the ability, the rest is up to me”.

Here’s to the one afraid to jump… “What if I fall? Oh, but my darling, what if you fly.” E.h. Take your shot, you never know what will happen. Living in fear is like living in bubble wrap. In the end, you will only regret the chances you didn’t take. We are in this world to make an impact and to do that we must jump and take the fall. We have one life, one story to tell.

Here’s to the person who got made fun of… They are only mean because you let them. Stand up for yourself and they will subside. Kill them with kindness and they will eventually be kind back. The world is too large and there are too many people to not to be kind to one another. Remember, words can’t be taken back once they are out. When you make mistakes about what you say remember to forgive yourself and don’t be afraid to apologize. There’s a story behind every person.

Here’s to the one who failed their exam… Failure is never easy, but if used correctly, you will learn some of life’s greatest lessons. As you grow, look at failures as your biggest opportunities. How one deals with failure, expresses their true character. Be the one who is known to get back up.
