We can all agree that positive change needs to happen in our society and I believe it all starts with meaningful conversations, and what better way to start those interactions than with art? The beautiful state of Oaxaca is in southwestern Mexico. Due to the mountainous terrain of the state, it’s made it easier to preserve the culture, traditions, and even native languages of different people groups.

The beautiful vibrant colors of the city were breathtaking. It was an amazing time to be in Mexico for a special holiday while learning more about my roots, and the history of a new city.
